Westbound traffic on I-40 was shut down after a vehicle fire causing a huge headache for holiday drivers.
The fire started at 12:35 at mile marker 200. Both westbound lanes are closed. This is west of downtown and will affect anyone headed to Bellevue or further west for the 4th.
The westbound lanes were blocked until about 2:15 p.m.
