NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A vehicle of interest in connection with the murder of a 49-year-old man in South Nashville has been located.
Roger D. Fryer was found shot to death in the early morning hours of May 17 on Mt. View Circle off Murfreesboro Pike.
Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department have determined that Fryer was dumped on the side of the road after being shot elsewhere.
Authorities said the vehicle in question, described as grey Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Tennessee tag 74H1045, was found on Village Drive in Nashboro Village.
The truck had reportedly been stolen from construction workers on Bell Road and Eagle View Boulevard.
