Thousands of people lined streets all across the Mid-State to honor the men and women who have served our country.
Veterans Day parades took place in several cities, including in Nashville.
The ten-block parade started in downtown and went down Broadway to 3rd Avenue.
Veterans from every branch of the military took part, from World War II to Afghanistan and Iraq.
The 101st Airborne Division Band led the parade.
In Clarksville, the theme of this year's Veterans Day Parade was "Service and Sacrifice."

The keynote speaker was army retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 John Clement, who has currently been serving as the Field Representative for Congressman Marsha Blackburn.
