Operation Stand Down Tennessee held a medical fair in Nashville, giving checkups to veterans and other community members.
Participants could get free health screenings, blood work, spiritual health assistance, and for some, dental care.
Kevin Quarles says this is the first time he'd ever gotten his cholesterol checked, and while he may not like his results, he was glad he knows what he needs to work on.
A total of 48 veterans were able to get their health needs taken care of with 24 having dental work and 5 veterans also got dentures made for free.
