NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police were searching for a suspect after a man showed up at the hospital with a stab wound.
The man turned up at TriStar Skyline Medical Center just after midnight Monday. The wound was minor, but officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department were called in to investigate.
Officials said the victim would not cooperate with investigators, but said he was cut during some kind of struggle with a stranger in his house.
The man told police the suspect came to his house for an unknown reason. Some kind of struggle ensued and the suspect produced a knife. The victim was cut on the hand. He told police the suspect then fled the scene on foot.
Police said the victim was treated and released.
