HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVF) — The Hopkinsville community came together Friday to honor a Vietnam veteran who died with no known surviving family members.
According to WHOP, 73-year-old Michael Hardin, of Clarksville, was laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Having no known surviving family members, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4730 asked community members to pay their respects -- and the community responded.
