Vigil Set For Teen At Center Of AMBER ALERT

A prayer vigil has been set for missing Maury County teen Elizabeth Thomas.

The vigil will be held Saturday, March 18 at the Riverwalk Park in Columbia at 7 p.m.

The 15-year-old went missing Monday from Columbia. Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation believe she is with her former teacher 50-year-old Tad Cummins.

Those hosting the vigil said they want to "pray together for the safe return of Elizabeth."

In the event description, they went on to say "Elizabeth Thomas has been removed for the safety of her home and county when she was most vulnerable. The family is worried for the safety and well-being of Elizabeth and we are asking for our community to come out and say a few prayers for her and her family."
