A boil advisory remains in effect for Houston County after a water main break interrupted service.
The advisory was issued after a mudslide caused the disruption. Sheriff Kevin Sugg said it will take some time for water to be fully restored.
Any water that does come from the tap needs to be boiled.
Houston County Schools also remain closed Wednesday.
As a result of the outage, inmates with the sheriff’s office were moved to other facilities in the area.
