As summer temperatures heat up, people have stepped up to help Nashville's homeless population.
Open Table Nashville spent Wednesday handing out ice cold water bottles. They said carrying water in your car is a simple thing everyone can do to help others during the heat.
Outreach workers also set up a clinic to wash the feet of the homeless. They hand out water bottles weekly but they're running out of supplies.
