NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A large water main break has flooded a few streets near downtown Nashville.
The incident was reported early Tuesday morning at Lindsley Avenue and Academy Place, not far from Hermitage Avenue.
Gallons of water could be seen gushing from the street. The excess water is flowing into storm drains and doesn't appear to be threatening any nearby residents or businesses.
It’s unclear what caused the break or when the issue would be fixed. Metro water crews were on scene assessing the damage.
