NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The body of a man who went under the water Monday afternoon was found during a rescue operation.
The Nashville Fire Department said the call for the water rescue came in just before 5 p.m. near Four Corners Marina on Percy Priest Lake. The man's friends told NFD that he couldn't swim.
Multiple NFD boats, as well as the Office of Emergency Management's dive team, searched for the man for two hours.
NFD confirmed via Twitter that the man drowned and his body had been found.

The man was later identified as 42-year-old Michael Hicks. His body has been sent to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
