A website has been set up to help victims of the Smoky Mountain wildfires.

Mountaintough.org was designed to be the primary place for people who either need help or want to help following the deadly wildfires.

This is the official agency that will handle long-term recover. They're said to be in the process of applying for 501 (c) (3) non-profit status.

In addition to the website, a Mountain Tough Recovery Team has been formed, and will consist of between seven and 11 members selected by the mayor.

However, they won't be elected officials.

Their goal is to help with aspects of recovery outside of just rebuilding homes and businesses.

Through the website, people can donate money, ask for mental health assistance, volunteer their time to help with recovery and apply for FEMA aid.
