Mayor David Briley has declared Wednesday, August 1 as “Nashville Hot Chicken Day.”
The proclamation comes as Pringles launches its newest flavor – Nashville Hot Chicken. The chips are sold exclusively at Dollar General Stores and for a limited time only.
Mayor Briley said the proclamation was issued to “extend appreciation to Dollar General Corporation and the Kellogg Company for giving back to the community.”
Pringles said the flavor is inspired by the traditional version of Nashville Hot Chicken and says “you can bet that it's hot.”
