A planned weekend closure for a construction project on Interstate 24 has been postponed.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said they postponed the closure for bridge rehabilitation on Interstate 24 downtown due to anticipated rain from Tropical Storm Nate.
Reports stated the next tentative closure has been scheduled for 8 p.m. on Friday, October 20 through 6 a.m. on Monday, October 23.
