NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The new Whole Foods Market in downtown Nashville has finally opened on Friday morning.

The first 250 customers in line received a token valid for a custom reusable tote bad, and a savings card with a mystery value.

Parking is available in the garage under the store, located as 1202 Broadway.

Plans to open the 44,500 square-foot high-end grocery store downtown were first announced in 2016.

The downtown location offers a fresh produce department, a full-service butcher, a seafood department, a specialty foods section, beer and wine, an in-house bakery and prepared foods. There is also a beauty and body care merchandise available and Broad Brews, a full-service coffee bar which also offers beer, canned wine and pastries.

It is the third location in the greater Nashville area, joining the Green Hills location and the McEwen location.

The store will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
