FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Williamson County deputies are actively searching for a man who ran away as they were trying to serve a warrant.
The sheriff's office said Benjamin Childress ran from a house on Peytonsville -Trinity Road Tuesday afternoon when deputies tried to serve him an arrest warrant for probation violation.
He was described as wearing only red boxers when he ran away.
Officials say extra WCSO deputies will be on patrol Tuesday night in the Crowder, Gosey Hill, and Peytonsville-Trinity Rd area.
They asked anyone who may see Childress or know where he is to call 9-1-1.
