Williamson County offers weekday drive-thru COVID-19 testing

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Williamson County Health Department is offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Franklin this week.

Anyone who is interested in getting a test can go to the Williamson County Agricultural Center at 4215 Long Lane May 4 through May 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nasal swabs will be collected during the test, and results could take about 72 hours after samples arrive at the lab to be returned.

The health department is asking any business owners who plan to recommend employees get tested to call the Williamson County Public Information Line at 615-595-4880. The line will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
