MURRAY, Ky. (WTVF) — A 19-year-old in Wisconsin has been arrested in connection with a false shots fired call and bomb threat at Murray High School in Kentucky.

The Murray Police Department said officers responded to the school for a shots fired call on Monday and a bomb threat on Tuesday. Both calls were deemed to be false.

Police said they traced all of the phone calls related to the cases back to Kya Nelson, of Racine, Wisconsin. A search warrant was executed at his home Friday morning, and Nelson was taken into custody.
