Woman accused of stealing from employer for four years

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Rutherford County woman was arrested and charged for allegedly stealing more than $22,000 from her former employer.

Eugenia Wesnofske was indicted on one count of theft over $10,000 on July 6. She was subsequently arrested and booked into the Rutherford County Jail on Friday.

Wesnofske was the office manager of an extermination business in Smyrna. From 2015 to 2019, she used her position to make personal purchases totaling more than $22,000 with the company's credit cards, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
