Woman Arrested In 2015 Montgomery Co. Murder Case

A woman was arrested in a 2015 murder case of an Army veteran in Montgomery County.

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged 39-year-old Jade Amanda Rose Breeden in the death of Melissa Woodruff Napier.

Napier, originally from New York, was an Army veteran, who  served in the military for four and a half years and rose to the rank of an E-5 Sergeant. She completed two tours in Iraq, working as a Chemical Operations Specialist.

Napier was reported missing on December 8, 2015 by her brother. Her body was found by a hunter on December 10, 2015 in the 3000 block of Tarsus Road in Palmyra.

Napier was 30 at the time of her death. She left behind a young son.

Breeden was being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a bond of $500,000.
