Woman attacked, robbed while jogging in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police official encouraged people to stay alert after a jogger was attacked and robbed in Clarksville.

Police say a woman in her 30s said she was robbed while running in the area of Nat Hoosier Lane around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

She said man and woman grabbed her from behind, punched her and demanded everything she had. She reported they took a piece of jewelry off her wrist. They suspects finally ran away when a car drove by.

The woman went home, sought medical attention the next day for the injuries to her face and arms, and then reported the robbery to police.
