NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman has been charged with domestic assault after allegedly hitting her father in the face with a flashlight multiple times.
Jessica Porter, 32, was arrested May 1 after a welfare check was called to a home on Peachtree Street a few days prior.
According to the affidavit, Porter's father had gone to a nearby business and asked the police be called about a domestic assault and then left.
When police arrived at the home, the man had a cut on his forehead and dried blood on his face and hands.
The man told police he had been in an argument with Porter, who then hit him several times in the face with a small flashlight.
