Woman Critically Injured In Columbia Stabbing

A woman was critically injured after her fiancé allegedly stabbed her in Columbia. 

Officials with Columbia Police said the incident happened at 3 p.m. Tuesday on School Street at Lot 3.

According to police, the victim, identified as Kizzi McClain, was stabbed during a domestic disturbance.

Her fiancé, Henry Beale II, was taken into custody a short time later. He’s been charged with attempted second degree murder.

McClain was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. Police said she’s in stable condition.

The incident remained under investigation.
