NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police have released the identity of the woman who was found dead inside her apartment complex.
Officials with Metro police said 26-year-old Porscha Clark was found dead inside the Trinity Hills apartment complex, on East Nocturne Drive.
A neighbor noticed Clark's two children, who are both under the age of 5, walking around the complex's common area about 7:15 p.m.
Police said neighbors walked them back into the apartment and found Clark dead from obvious trauma.
This was one of three violent incidents that happened over the weekend. A man was also shot and killed inside his car near Hadley Park late Sunday night.
A third person was shot on Due West Avenue around 11:30 in Madison. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he is expected to survive.
