NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman is in the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car Sunday night.
Madison Police officers responded to 2234 Gallatin Pike North, near Zaxby's, around 5 pm. They believe the victim was hit after walking into the street outside of a crosswalk zone.
She was taken to Vanderbilt with what appear to be life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
