ROBERTSON CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — Investigators are looking into a suspicious fire that destroyed a mobile home near Springfield and sent a woman to the hospital.
The fire was reported at about 12:45a.m. Thursday on Cave Spring Road in Robertson County.
According to the Pleasant View Fire Chief, crews arrived to the scene to find a mobile home fully engulfed in flames. A woman was injured and taken to a hospital by a paramedics, and then was ultimately flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. The type and extent of her injuries is unclear.
The fire chief at the scene said the fire was suspicious. Investigators from Robertson County were called in to help determine the cause.
