GUTHRIE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person died in an apartment fire in Guthrie Friday afternoon.
Sinnie Merriweather, 64, died in the fire at the apartment on Grant Street, according to the Todd County Emergency Management Agency.
The Guthrie Fire Department responded to a call of smoke coming from the apartment. Firefighters searched the residence and found that Merriweather had died in the fire.
EMA officials say foul play is not suspect.
