MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was killed in a crash in Rutherford County Monday on Interstate 24 West.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said 21-year-old Andreana Vega died when her 2012 Hyundai Elantra ran off the right shoulder of the roadway and hit a tree.
The crash happened at mile marker 72 on I-24 West around 2:30 p.m.
The THP report states Vega was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
