A search and rescue crew with the Ashland City Fire Department rescued a woman from an icy lake.
Wednesday’s rescue happened on River Road near Lost Hollow Lane in Ashland City.
Pictures taken by the department showed the woman sitting on top of a vehicle in the middle of the ice covered waters.
It was unclear if the icy conditions caused the accident, or how the woman’s car became submerged in the water.
The driver was not injured, just very cold and wet.
