An investigation got underway overnight after a woman was shot twice while riding in a car in Antioch.
The incident happened late Thursday night in the 5000 block of Cane Ridge Road.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the driver told detectives he was lost and traveling down the road when someone started shooting at his vehicle.
A woman in the passenger seat was struck twice and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remained ongoing.
