Police confirmed a woman who was sitting on an outdoor swing was hit by a vehicle.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. Saturday on White Bridge Pike at the Villa Maria Manor.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle hit a curve near White Bridge Pike and Post Place. The driver then came through the parking lot of the manor, hit a post, hit a parked USPS vehicle, and then crashed into the woman on the swing.
The victim was reportedly pinned under the vehicle. Authorities said she had minor injuries and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Family members confirmed she's 70 years old.
The investigation remained ongoing.
