NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman was arrested late Friday night in connection to the stabbing death of her boyfriend.
Police said 56-year-old Christopher Hopkins was killed in the couple's apartment on Lester Avenue around 10:15 p.m. He was found on the floor, stabbed in the abdomen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hopkins' girlfriend, 57-year-old Pamela Phillips was charged with criminal homicide after police said she admitted to stabbing him during an argument.
According to the arrest report, Phillips first told officers she accidentally stabbed Hopkins while putting away dishes. She later changed her story and said she was mad and tired of Hopkins abusing her.
