A 13-year-old has been taken into custody in Nashville after allegedly trying to rob a business Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at 10:15 a.m. at Diverse Mobile, located on Old Hickory Boulevard.
Officials said the teenager entered the business armed and placed two phones and a gun on the counter at the same time.
According to police, the clerk was able to subdue the teen and then secured the weapon until officers arrived.
The 13-year-old was arrested and taken to juvenile court. Police said they intend to bring charges of aggravated robbery but that would ultimately be decided by the District Attorney's Office.
