NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — American Airlines announced its new nonstop flight from Nashville to Phoenix Monday.
The flight offering will begin on Nov. 4 and will operate four times a week, once per day Thursday through Sunday.
With the addition of the new flight, travelers now have a nonstop option from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to any American Airlines hub in the United States.
“This is great news and a plus for those traveling to Phoenix or connections to other locations in the west,” said Doug Kreulen, BNA president and CEO. “The expansion of nonstop service is always a goal and we continue to meet that challenge.”
The announcement came ahead of major construction planned to begin Tues., Sept. 1. The airport is splitting into two distinct terminals as construction gets underway in the center portion of the Departures level. Passengers should watch for color-coded signs (blue for South Terminal) to direct them to the correct security checkpoint.
