NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Zanies Comedy Club is temporarily closing following D.L. Hughley's performance over the weekend.

Hughley fainted on stage Friday while in the middle of his stand-up routine. He was treated at St. Thomas for extreme exhaustion and dehydration and learned he tested positive for COVID-19.

He performed at Zanies on Thursday night as well.

The comedy club then announced on its website it will remain closed until it is properly cleaned by a specialist.

Anyone who attended the shows and believes they were exposed to the coronavirus is urged to contact the Metro Public Health Department.
