NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The elephants at the Nashville Zoo will soon be relocated, while the elephant area goes through a remodel.

The exhibit had three elephants in it. Two elephants, Hadari and Rosie were set to be moved to The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald.

The destination for Sukari wasn’t known.

All three elephants were expected to be relocated by November. The zoo planned to give everyone the chance to visit the elephants and say goodbye before they all leave.

The exact time line for completing the changes to the elephant area was not completed
