NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State University Lady Tigers’ season has ended following their 97-52 loss to Kentucky in the NCAA Women’s Tournament.
The Lady Tigers went to Lexington looking for an upset, but Kentucky proved to be too much.
This year marked the first time in 20 years since TSU has made an appearance in the tournament.
Earlier this month, they upset top-seeded UT Martin 64-60 in overtime to win the OVC Title to earn their NCAA bid.
TSU finished the season 18-3 overall.
