Bowl selections have been made in the world of college football.
Several local teams have been scheduled to play all over the nation in various bowl games.
Here's when and where your favorite local teams will be playing:
- Music City Bowl: Tennessee vs. Nebraska in Nashville, Tennessee on December 30
- Independence Bowl: Vanderbilt vs. N.C. State in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 26
- Hawaii Bowl: MTSU vs. Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 24
- Boca Raton Bowl: Western Kentucky vs. Memphis in Boca Raton, Florida on December 20
University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics, Dave Hart, released the following statement:
"We are looking forward to playing in our third-straight bowl game against a ranked opponent. Scott Ramsey and the Nashville Sports Council do a great job hosting the Music City Bowl each year and we are grateful for the invitation. We appreciate Dan Crockett and Franklin American Mortgage and the job they do as a title sponsor."
