Vanderbilt Beats Wofford, 80-56

Damian Jones scored a season-high 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds, leading Vanderbilt to an 80-56 win over Wofford on Saturday night

Jones scored 14 points in the first half, the most by a Commodore this season. The 7-foot junior center, projected as a first-round NBA draft pick, hit 7 of 13 from the floor and 7 of 10 from the foul line.

Vanderbilt's Jeff Roberson added 13 points. Matthew Fisher-Davis scored 10 points, including three 3-pointers, and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds. Wade Baldwin IV added 10 points.

The Commodores (7-3), playing their first game in 10 days after finishing first semester exams, outrebounded the Terriers 43-30.

Spencer Collins led Wofford (3-7) with 13 points as the Terriers lost their third straight. Justin Gordon added 11 points for Wofford, which shot only 33 percent from the floor.
