The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a one-year contract with linebacker Sean Spence.
The Titans announced Wednesday that they had agreed to terms with Spence, who played 31 games and made 13 starts with the Pittsburgh Steelers over the last two seasons. Spence, who is 5-foot-11 and 231 pounds, had 34 tackles and one sack while appearing in 15 games last season.
The Steelers gave Spence the 2014 Ed Block Courage Award after he overcame a knee injury that had caused him to miss two seasons. He injured the knee in the final preseason game of his rookie year.
Spence was selected by the Steelers in the third round of the 2012 draft after he made 318 tackles as a four-year starter at Miami.
