The Tennessee Titans have announced that quarterback Marcus Mariota will play in the preseason opener against the New York Jets.
The decision was announced after Monday night’s practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park.
At this point, it’s unclear how much playing time Mariota will get during Saturday’s game.
Mariota had surgery in December on his right leg after getting sacked during a 38-17 loss to Jacksonville.
