The Tennessee Titans have waived several players, including backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger.
The team made the announcement Monday morning via social media, saying the move was to “make room for the additions.”
The team also waived defensive end Iosia Iosia, tight end Kevin Greene and wide receiver Rashon Ceaser.

Mettenberger was a sixth round pick out of LSU in 2014 and started just 10 games in two seasons.
Right now, the Titans have QBs Matt Cassel and Alex Tanney to backup Marcus Mariota.
