Predators Fans Warned About Fake Tickets For Stanley Cup Final

Posted

Nashville Predators fans have been urged to be mindful of the uptick in fake ticket sales.

Preds officials want to remind everyone that tickets inside Bridgestone Arena are sold out for the Stanley Cup Final. As a result, there’s been an increase in fraudulent ticket sales in secondary markets.

The “Grow the Gold” ticket policy was implemented for Preds fans to help prevent scams and to make sure people receive authentic tickets only from the team’s website and Ticketmaster.

“We work hard to limit fraudulent tickets for all Bridgestone Arena events,” Senior Vice President of Tickets Nat Harden said. “We are grateful to be in a position of hosting sold-out Predators games and Arena events year-long and will continue to encourage fans to avoid secondary markets for ticket purchases.”

Officials said tickets will only appear on mobile devices the day of the game, and sometimes not until doors open.

The NHL has also encouraged fans to be aware of counterfeit merchandise.
