Nine people inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame honored one of its most prestigious classes ever at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville.

Nine inductees were added to the hall on Saturday.

Leading the list was former UT quarterback and 5-time NFL MVP, Peyton Manning, along with his offensive coordinator at UT, David Cutcliffe.

Former UT safety Charles Davis, and Lady Vol Kara Lawson, also joined the class. Patrick Willis, a Bruceton native and 2009 Butkus Award winner, was also honored.

Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk was named 2019 Tennessean of the Year as well.
