KEY LIME TRIFLE

1 whole angel food cake, torn into pieces

2 (14-oz) cans Kroger sweetened condensed milk (or low-fat or Simple Truth Organic)

½ c Key lime juice

2 c Kroger whipping cream

1 ½ c Kroger graham cracker crumbs, divided

1 (8-oz) container Kroger regular or lite frozen, whipped topping, thawed

Zest of 1 lime

1 lime cut into slices, twists or wedges for garnish

In a large bowl beat sweetened condensed milk and lime juice with a whisk until well combined. In a chilled medium-sized bowl beat whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until medium to stiff peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture until smooth. In a 3-quart trifle bowl spoon a layer of lime-cream mixture. Follow with layers of graham cracker crumbs and cake pieces. Repeat layers, leaving room for a final layer of whipped topping. Sprinkle grated lime peel on top of whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs around rim of bowl. Place lime slices or wedges in center for final garnish. Yield: 8-10 servings

FRESH FRUIT CAVIAR

1 c Kroger chocolate chips, Simple Truth Organic or Simple Truth Vegan chocolate chips

½ c fresh blueberries

½ c mango, sliced and cut into ¼”-1/2” pieces

1 banana, sliced and cut into ¼” pieces

2 kiwis, peeled and sliced and cut into ¼”-1/2”pieces

8-10 strawberries, sliced and cut into ¼” -1/2”pieces

2 T Simple Truth fresh mint, chopped

2-4 T Kroger lemon yogurt or Kroger vanilla yogurt, optional

Combine chocolate chips, blueberries, mango pieces, banana pieces, kiwi pieces, strawberry pieces and mint in a large bowl. Toss to mix. If desired add lemon or vanilla yogurt and stir to coat fruit. Serve immediately in individual bowls or chill slightly and serve. Yield: 4-6 servings

**Fruit Caviar can also be served over ice cream, pound cake or angel food cake.
