Lynne Tolley from Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House in Lynchburg made Gentleman Jack Summer Party Punch. (see recipe below) This recipe would be perfect to serve at your at-home Iroquois Steeplechase Party. The Iroquois Steeplechase had to be canceled this year because of COVID 19, but on June 27th, folks all over town will host virtual Steeplechase parties at home! That night, NewsChannel 5 will broadcast an hour-long Iroquois Steeplechase special at 7pm. You can celebrate by purchasing a Cooler at Home Tailgating package that includes an Orca cooler with assortment of Hap & Harry’s Tennessee beer, commemorative Steeplechase cups and appetizers from Publix. The package costs $500 online at www.iroquoissteeplechase.org.
