Eastbound traffic on Interstate 24 in Rutherford County was reduced to one lane due to a crash involving two vehicles.
Authorities with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the crash happened around 7:04 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 65.
According to reports, the wreck involved two passenger vehicles. One of those vehicles had been pulling a small utility trailer.
No word was released on the cause of the crash or any injuries involved.
Traffic was backed up while crews worked at the scene, which was expected to be cleared by 8 p.m. Westbound traffic was not affected.
