2 Injured In Crash On Nashville Hwy. In Columbia

Officials said two people were injured in a crash in Columbia.

The wreck happened just before 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of Nashville Highway near Caters Creek Pike. That area was partially closed for several hours while crews responded to the scene.

Details were not available as far as the cause of the crash, but authorities had said a tractor trailer was involved.

 

Two people in one vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital before being transferred by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The truck driver was not hurt. No further details were available.
