A crash involving multiple vehicles, including a semi, shut down a lane of traffic on Interstate 40.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 192 at the Davidson/Cheatham county line around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Details had not been released on the cause of the crash or if any injuries were involved.
Officials said the left lane had been blocked to eastbound drivers. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews said the roadway would be clear by 10:30 a.m.
