A crash involving multiple vehicles has backed up traffic on Interstate 40.
The wreck happened in the westbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 203 past Briley Parkway around 10:17 p.m. Saturday.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the right lanes were blocked to westbound traffic. Drivers headed eastbound were not affected.
Crews estimated the roadway would be cleared by midnight.
